Burnout of the Month/SCC!!

Sorry if this is a repost, I looked around a little bit and couldn't find anything on it.

But the latest issue of Sport Compact Car/December 2004 awarded Robert Graham and his '97 Nissan Maxima 5-Spd, Parts Unknown, the burnout of the month. And a nice burnout it was!

Just wondering if you are on here Robert?

No problem figured people would ask for a scan or something anyway.

....did something similar with my 6th generation, not as big as this guy though. Doing a U-turn I saw my opportunity before the next car came speeding by so I just punched it. Next thing I know all I hear is a loud screetching noise, and a cloud of smoke behind me, and to the side of me, along with the fresh smell of burned rubber. Needless to say all the other cars in the lanes next to me some either honked and some just stared. They got a freebie.

Good job...I saw that scc mag yesterday. That maxima looks mean with all that smoke around it. Just wondering...

What kind of mods do you have Robert?

As far as the motor goes; Place Racing CAI, Warpspeed Y-Pipe, Random Technologies Cat, 2.5inch piping to Apex'i N1 Muffler. Nothing that serious, but the Maximas got enough power stock to leave plenty of smoke .

I have a pretty cool pic of the car doing a nice burnout at a drag strip, if anyone cares to see it. IM me on AIM: Estis Fatuus

That's pretty good. He must have tons of torque, or tires in really bad shape!
