It's the american lemans series with the audi r8 and even the new v8 m3, however it's not doing so good because their still trying to fix the bugs on it. Today they had flames coming out of the exhaust because one of the injectors were putting out too much fuel. In canada we get it on channel 15

You want racing

just go to speedvision and watch the F1 series, that stuff is crazy. Micheal Shumacer(sp?) is the **** he drives one of the Ferraries he is the best driver in the world right now hands down, those F1 cars run at about 17000 to 20000 RPM good god would I love to hear that sound live, it is wicked on TV for cryin out loud. I have seen it once on Speedvison but there is a racing 2k MAX on the GT cup I believe, and some of the best racing on the channel is the British Touring cup.
just food for thought

Top RPM for any F1 engines right now is about 18,500 PRM, I think.

And I was watching that yesterday. American Lemans in the UK, just north of London I think it was. This is the type of racing I enjoy, none of this Nascar ****. Can't wait until summer when I'll have to time to go to Mosport to watch some races.

Races

I watch speedvision more than all other channels combined. Speedvision GT, Touring Car, ALMS, ELMS, TRANS-AM, Vintage racing, F1, and whatever other racing they happen to have on there. BTW, Michael Schumacher's little brother Ralf won his first F1 race this morning, the San Marino GP. First win for BMW since 1986 and first win for Williams (his team) since 1997 or 1998.

Speedvision is king!

Those guys know racing.

The American Le Mans series is a blast to watch. As a note to less informed watchers there are actually 4 races being run at the same time, that is why that Audi seems to be slaughtering those little M3s. There are 2 prototype classes and 2 street car classes.

Just wait until Le Mans, 25 hours live! Yep, that's right, they are showing the whole thing wire to wire. The did it for Sebring and for the 24 of Daytona and it was just way cool and VERY well done!

The ALMS is just 3 classes: LMP, GTS, GT.

I guess I was thinking about the other Le Mans series. But aren't the LMP cars in a 900 and a 675 category? Are they considered 1? (e.g. they have different engine specs but one can be lighter than the other?)

In the U.S., the 675s run in the Grand Am series, which has a whopping 5 classes. The ALMS used to have 4 classes, back when it was CanAm, GT1, GT2, GT3, and the GT1s ruled the world (CLK-GTR & CLK-LM, 911 GT1, Toyota GT1, Nissan R390GT1 & R391GT1, etc.). Those were the good days.
