Well...
The car is still at the shop getting the finishing touches put on it (3" exhaust, Gauges, etc)...
But I went there today and took it for a spin with the stock exhaust on it (running about 9-10psi or so...i think).
HOLLLLYYYYYY SHIIIEEEEEETTT!!!!!
That's all I can say.
CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY CAR BACK!!!!
BTW: I didnt change anything from the stock STILLEN S/C kit (no other fuel upgrades)...Couldnt hear any pinging (detonation) but I won't be doing any serious beating on it until it's put on a dyno with a wideband O2 to make sure the A/F ratio is good.

Actually I still dont have a boost gauge installed...
My gauges are being installed tomorrow...
Stillen says 6-6.5 psi...
But with stock exhaust it was probably less...
Who knows?

Do you know what i'm thinking Adam? Im not talkin about the boost either. You know, the big things that slow down.
Yank em off! hehe.
SO i guess this is why you were a no show huh? You left poor Brett stranded in the night. Brett got raped in the semi-finals. LoL.

Dang
You guys are all so happy about 10psi boost and all that good stuff, I just wish I had a supercharger. My questions though is how can you run that musch boost with no mods to the fuel injectors, a/f mixture, that kinda stuff.

Drive it like a Grandma and you should be okay until it's tuned and fuel needs established.
At 10psi, injector upgrades (w/ECU upgrade) would probably be necessary... at least for *my* sanity.
I'd contact G-Force/URPD or JWT about a custom ECU reprogram and new fuel injectors.A/F should be acceptable at 10psi, with the aftermarket fuel pump that comes with the kit and the 8:1 or 10:1 FMU (speculation on my part!) MAF should be big enough as well.
As for the engine itself, the VQ is pretty tough. I wouldn't worry about that unless you do something stupid. (heck, stock SR20DE's can take 20psi from a well-tuned turbo... the VQ30DE should be at least as tough, although no engine can save you from being stupid).

Nobody can reprogram the ECU...
Most likely I will just be using a Field Hyper R controller.
Fuel injectors shouldnt be neccessary.
