So people are gay b/c they know that a certain car is preferred by more women then men? whatever.
I knew someone gay would get offended by my statement. I was just waiting to see which homo would step up

Man, you guys are some haters. No offense but you guys make it seems like if its not a 4th or 5th gen it's junk. Just my opinion. I'm a fan of the VW/Audi 1.8t engines and the VR6. My buddy's 03 Jetta 1.8 with intake/exhaust/chip on stock small asz k03 turbo would hang with my old 98 5spd max with i/y. And I know speed isn't everything to everyone, the interior on those loaded are pretty damn nice.( Kinda like an Audi)

Just my .02 cents

3.5L max is faster than a GTI. And the r32 took a severe beating from a Z in a european comparo. You could buy a vette for $25k if you want something really sporty

the r32 is ridiculous, far more fun than any max I've been in... I know first hand because I've driven one! Handling and acceleration were both phenomenal and the sound of the engine and exhaust was pure music.

The Jetta GLI is also super fun. Handles more competently than the max and that turbo is addictive at sub 100 mph. It lose a bit of steam above that though...

back seat

if you need a back seat go for the Max. Jetta was way too small.
