First i want to answer myself

First heard about this site when i was searching the internet for maxima pictures
I have been using this site for two months now. Yes definitely addicted, sometime visit this site 10-12 times daily. Or i should say everytime i'm on the internet, i do check the new posts before i logout.

2.)I joined in December 2000, but started to actively participate in Jan. 2001
3&4.)Yeah, but I only sign on like three times a day (0900, 1700, 2100), but can stay on hear for hours reading, making and receiving replies.


Question, what is the largest number of posts that you have had in a day? I think I hit 45 earlier this week.

i found the ORg maybe alittle over a year ago trying to get some Maxima pics. I have been on ever since. I say im totally addicted to this site, i cant remmember where online i used to go to before i discovered the Org. Im on here atleast 5-10 times a day. Reading up new posts, replying and posting questions about my 96. Plan on being here for a while too.

I'm not sure exactly, but it's been years that I've been on this and its ancestors... there was Andi's group, then Chad's BBS... I was "antknee" there...

I got my first Max in 96. But I would say I didn't find the BBS until 97 maybe?

I have been here for the longest time. Like acitrano, I was just I used to check out Chad's BBS all the time, then came Maxima.org. I can remember looking at the site during work at my summer jobs for the past couple years.

I started reading max.org around Jan. 2000, then I made a account around June. I started visiting once every day or every other day, but before I knew it I was logging on when ever I get a chance.

I visit 2-3 time a day on average and usualy just hang out at night for hours hanging out on the org, wathching TV, just chillen.

I was posting on the Maxima BBS way back in the day. Before anyone even knew Maximas could be modified! In fact, I think I was one of the first ten people to ever post on the 'original BBS.'

I remember, it must have been back in 96. First it was Evan You's BBS, then it was Justin's BBS. Then Andi Baratchi, the guru at the time, started his own BBS and that was the 'real start' of the Maxima BBS. Then came Chad's BBS. And for a while, Chad's BBS was down, so a bunch of people hosting temporary BBS's like Shing's, Russ's, Thurznite, etc...

Then Jambo started up Maxima.org, and well that's what we have now, and well, I am still enjoying the ride everyday.

3) Used to kinda be, until I got sick of all the fights Russ and Andi were having, that on top of all the stupid responses I would get to legit questions (also before there was an off topic forum). Things have gotten a lot better tho they were more exciting back then...
4) When at work, periodically. Usually not too much from home, only when I need it.

by clicking on the user profile; it gives how many posts a memebr has and how many times they post each day among other stats. Also, if one uses the "find other members" function and sort by date joined, you can see when people joined the BBS.
