how much for tinting?

Hey guys, was just wonderin how much you guys have paid for a 5-window tint. I was thinking of plain dark tint, probably 35%, but was considering silver tint also. my car is black on black, the contrast could look nice. what should i expect to pay?

Thanks!

It's highly dependent on your location. Up here in Mass, expect to pay $200-250 for a quality job using high-quality tint film.

I paid $235 for 5% on all windows including windshield banner and sunroof with lifetime warranty. It also included removing the old rear window tint which is a mojor pita. I also think the guy that did it is the best tinter in ABQ.

I paid 145 for my 20 %. I think the silver tint is really ugly...try and find some pictures before you go for that.

Geez. All you guys got reamed. You should have all come to Delta Windows in Indiana. $100 even. It only took 45 minutes and I got to watch them do it, plus its guaranteed for as long as I own the car.

Here in NY expect to pay $200 maybe a bit more for 7 windows. Any % you want. I don't like the mirrow or the silver look. I am looking to get mine done myself.

yep. custom graphics, multiple layers. It is an art.

for your run of the mill tinting job most places will charge you about 150-350.

Call around and ask. There are a few places here and one charges 320 and another 140... They are like 5 miles apart so it really varies.
