Stock, all the other colors are useless. Who cares what your lights look like to oncomers when you can't even see the road.

6000K will yield about 12-15% less lumens than stock 4300K. Thats not alot and is still wayyyyy brighter than halogen. 6000K gives you plenty of visiblity, I dont need to see stop signs two blocks down the road.Originally Posted by skuccio's max

6000k does only lose 200lm average. BUT it is slightly blue and that causes a few issues. 1 VERY BAD in bad weather, fog - reflects to much snow - bad depth perception and reflects rain - bad depth perception and wet roads absorb bluer light. so if you do have 6000k I recommend at least a halogen or 3000k hid fog systemOriginally Posted by SMOKEYMOUNTAIN

But if i'm about 100ft away i feel like it is, so i need to decide if i want to spend the money on a Conversion kit for the projectors.
However back to the colors temp. I couldn't be happier to go to HID's from Blue Tinted glass halogen...the difference in color from 6000k - 8000k isn't all that big. Can't judge fairly on the light output, the only other 6000k i've driven is my brother Ford Explorer so the setup is a bit different...I was orginally going to get 10,000k but thought it might look to blue and wanted something that would help my lighting conditions at night and also not attract the Fuzz.
Long story short i am happy with 8000K (even without projectors) but i feel 6000k is prob the best buy for more of you "conservative" drivers out there..
Peace
