The 2002 Altima...
Have you guys seen the specs on the new 2002 Altima...it is a little bigger than the Maxima...you can get it with a v-6 and not any V-6 but the VQ35DE with 240bhp and 246 lb-ft of torque. First time that engine has been put in a car here in the US. Man this car is going to rock...now all I'm wondering is how much it is going to cost...and/or if the engine will fit in the 4th Gen Maxima...because if it will I'll just throw the engine into my car. I hope it fits into the engine compartment...Oh by the way that engine the VQ35DE has variable valve timing...can you say V-tec for Nissan....that is going to kick butt. There haven't been any spec for the 0-60 and 1/4 mile yet but I'm sure it does the 1/4 under 15. Well, just wanted to pass that on and see if anybody had thoughts on it. Heres the website if you want to read up on it. www.freshalloy.com

And nissans cvt is NOT like vtec. Vtec is more advanced than cvt, BUT nissan does have VVL back in japan...which is like vtec. Honestly...it don't matter how they get the hp our of the car...but they did.
