MTL change, hurry up and read!

my car is up on jacks right now and i cant find where to add the MTL oil. right now, im using http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/mtoil.html and can't see a pic of the MTL fill plug. can anyone describe what it looks like and where it might be? thanks and please hurry, my cars up on jacks waiting. thanks

Here is Russ's 5th gen tranny fluid change with pictures, it's the same for your car. BTW, you should be using MT-90, it's preferable to MTL.

thanks, yeah, i am using MT-90, i used to have a miata that used MTL and i think i just typed faster then i was thinking. now as for my owners manual, it only shows how to change if for an auto and not a 5spd, but i still cant fnd the filler plug, is it the dipstick like thing, to measure the level, if so, i dont think i have one. where is it? right in front of the MAF sensor like the manual shows? i dont have one, is it cuase i have a 5spd and not an auto? please help!

Did you look at Russ's pictures? It clearly shows the filler plug. It's right in front of the transmission housing as you face teh engine from the front. Before you reinstall the filler plug, it's a good idea to put a little thread sealant on the bolt.

haha, im done. it was a whole lot easier then i was makin it. its jsut like changing the oil. his car is pretty damn clean compared to mine. i had to scrape off smudge all around for it took look similar to his. im done now thanks to you, thanks, i appreciate it!
