alright well, i talked to them earlier today and they said that evne though there isn't any paint on their bumper, they'll take care of it since the height of their bumper matches perfectly with the damage on my car... and the position... and frekain everything else that made it so obvious.

They didn't want to go through insurance, which i don't mind. They're neighbors so getting cops adn crap involved was something i didn't want to go through.. just glad they realized it really was their fault and that they're honest enough to accept it.

i am sure his wife really didn't notice she had hit my car.. considering how huge that truck is, if she did notice it, it probably would have left a bigger dent.

He wanted to go to a bodyshop that he usually deals with.... i can only hope they do a really good job. I am still goin to get a quote from my usual shop.

It looks like the shop will have to bang out the dent, then fill whatever else and paint over... then re-clearcoat the entire door. Hopefully they do a good job of paintmatching. After taking the car to the bodyshop 3 times, I have a good idea of how much it would cost and waht they'd do to fix it.

However, i totally forgot about a rental. hmm... gotta talk to them about that.

Get a new door panel. I don't like the idea of using a filler. Checking with your body shop is a good idea. Ask them if they would use filler.

Do not use his body shop. They will do the job like who did it and ran! You are entitled to use the body shop of your choice and body filler is not an option in my opinion. His wife had to know she hit your car, come on! A dent that size and she didn't feel anything? LOSER

I am glad they are doing the right thing. Hope the job comes out good.

I'm glad that they're going to pay for the damage. I do agree that they are also responsible for a rental but I think that's pushing your luck. But I hope that they do take the full responsibility for the damage (dent + rental ride).

They are being very accomodating (since they could honestly deny this and completely get away with it, there's no proof they did it) so I would check out their body shop, give them a fair shot. If the place is really shady you can always just say you won't use it, but I would work with them for the moment.

Ninos, just be quiet. Please don't post anymore while you're in China or even when you get back. You're as dumb as a door ****.

you need to get an alarm and keep the shock sensor cranked all the way up... that way if they hit your car again youll have time to run outside and see whats up!

i feel real bad this keeps happening to you
