Hey i was just sitting here thinking about, how in a issue of sportcompact car a while ago(like last year) there was a article, about a 3rd gen maxima with a TT 300zx engine in it
and it wasnt the older one either. it was the engine from the last gen 300zx. I was just wondering if anyone else remembers seeing this?

It's not a TTZ engine. It's a Z31 single turbo engine. The TT won't fit, it's wayyyy too wide.

Several people have done the swap, do a search in the 3rd gen forum.

yeah it was that engine

if you actually saw the article you would know, the guy who did it had to modify the car alot since it was so much bigger and rwd.

Yea, that was Vitaley's 3rd gen max. It has the single turbo back from the 80's 300. He use to be on the board but is now hiding somewhere. hehe.

I'll say this again. It's not the TTZ engine. It's a single Turbo Z engine. I know the article, and I have pics of the car.....
