Same HP (240 ) as the GTP...and should do 2 things
the GTP could not
#1...Much better resale..so much better investment
#2...Should last longer with less problems
At the end of 4 to 5 years of payments I would rather
have a pathfinder to trade in or to keep than a GTP
sitting in my garage ......

we have a PF LE
not the 3.5, but the new body style... We love it. its been a wonderful auto to own. I really cant say enough good things about it.
I will say this, I rode with my wife a few times at first and she is a really safe driver, but I kept having to remind her to give everyone more space. The PF stops great, but physics are physics.. She was alittle bugged at first but quickly realized that she did need to put alittle more forethought into stopping and turning. We got out on some desolate roads and I had her do some emergency braking and lane changing. We felt stupid, but it gave her alot of insight into the handling of a SUV. if you do this, just be careful not to warp the rotors.
We finally got it off road. We had to take a logging road with all kinds of nasty obstacles, about 4 miles long. The PF did great. I was worried that I'd knock it out of alignment on the huge rock and ruts, but it was fine (and I went really slow
Yes, I was nervous as hell the whole time. One smack on anything would have been a 2 grand bill I'm sure.
the friends cabin turned out to be a 'long road to a small house' but it was basically like having your own lake when you got there. It was kinda nice not being a poser anymore.
