Gathering Interest: JIC FLT-A2 Group Deal

I'm for real on this. If you are interested in a group deal on the best coilovers out there please post up. I'm getting these no matter what within the next several months. I've been chatting with Steve at SWA on the issue. He is going to talk to his managers. He has asked me to start up an interest thread. Here it is. The head count right now:

1. Broaner
2. ???

What would you be willing to pay? My guess is there is very little chance Steve will be able to get them for less than $1k unless we have a sh!tload of people. Headcount still remains at 1.

Well, depending on more testimonies (sp?) from D2 Rs owners will determine which coilovers I get. I think you should do the same if it will save you $400+

D2's are that much? Wow! Only $400 more at the current retail for a far superior product. Lets see what kinda discount we can get.

Ask Steve if he knows the latest minimum purchase JIC allows. It used to be about $10K, however I think they raised it to $20K with some minimum ordering monthly/yearly price from then on to stay a JIC dealer. Basically, JIC doesn't allow "Group Buys" and even if you guys are successful in getting your order, SWA won't still be a JIC dealer when you come back for warranty repairs.

If you did get them for $1300 or so, SWA won't be making but $50 or so, since dealers wholesale is $11XX-$12XX probably.

My advice is to just get them through Paul@Avalon, who is a dealer and stays a dealer incase you have problems down the road or need parts at a reasonable price.

Good luck though.
