polishing the fstb
take it off, spray with brake parts cleaner and use a rag to get all the crap off, use an old toothbrush to clean the small areas. Hose it down with water, wipe it dry with another towel. Now use some Eagle1 or Mothers or any of those Aluminum polish things. I think the one I have is the Eagle1, it's a chrome/black smal bottle with what seems to be unprocessed cotton inside. They got em at Discount. Anyways, use that on the strut bar, wait a minute, then wipe it down with a dry cloth... You're done!

hey, i know you, i think ur name is eddie and you ahve the scraing metal guard under ur car, which by the way according to nissan is a heat shielf between the y-pipe and oil pan.

My old cheapo Courtesy bar was alumin. And my 5gen fstb from Otto is also alumin. The end brackets are steel however.
