Yikes, sorry to hear that. You'll have to get the dealer to do that, since that's the tension bar that keeps the weight of the trunk from closing. It happened to me with my first car on the mitsubishi. I've tried to do it myself, it's impossible to get it on. They have a special tool that push the pressure of the tension bar back into place.

There is no special tool that puts that bar back on. Pure force, two guys, two large pry bars usually does the trick. That's how we remove and install them at the shop.
You'll have to replace that broken mount first, looks like it's bolted on from under the rear deck. Find another Max and look closely how the bars are installed. The tension is quite heavy, I believe the bars have about 3/4 turn of tension on them. There dangerous to take out, as well as install. Take your time, use large pry bars and a friend. Don't let it snap back at you or you can get hurt.
Good luck!

When I added a factory spoiler to my wife's Accord at the dealer they used a special tool to remover the tension bars. Apparently, the new factory spoiler came with new tension bars to support the added weight. I'm sure Nissan has a similiar tool for our Max's. Just call your local dealer and hopefully they won't charge you more than 15 minutes of labor. Good Luck!
