what a joke

I found this on craigslist.com. Some guy in the boston area is supposedly selling a AE. And hes using a picture of my car to do it. The interior shots are not my car, but the top left pic is my car...What a joke. Thats what happens when you post pics of your car online.

I just emailed him, and told him to use a pic of his own car. I wonder if he will reply.

the bigger question is what possessed him to use a different photo? Like if the car sold the person wouldn't notice that it was different from the photo? lol I think that guy deserved the Darwin award for the week!

They should atleast try to make an attempt to get in contact with the actual owner of the pic before they use it.!!!!!!!!!

What's funny is they did nothing to verify that what you said is true (we know you're telling the truth, but how would they?). Anybody could just have another person's ad removed for spite, then. Very weird.

actually I didn't. I would have liked to see what it would have gone for but the auction got closed before it ended. That was before most of my mods (not like I have anything crazy now, but lots of labor in it) though so who knows.

Pretty pathetic using someone else's pic. I bet the car wasn't even good condition on the outside, who knows, probably a lot of chip stones or dented.

Maybe you should send him some new photos of your car and ask him since he tried to "sell" it before your mods...maybe he'll have better luck now...lol
