So you like Black, huh?

Since the last time I've posted anyting about my car I've managed to fit in a few things here and there. I like the progress so far, can't complain too much seeing as it's going faster than I imagined. Just a few more things to get her to where I want her......mainly rest of bodykit, and on to pure performance.

So far.....
15% Black Reflective Metallic tint - Not as dark as I thought but still dark enough.

Carbon Fiber Door Pillars/Mirrors - Pillars are perfect, the mirrors could have used a little polishing when I recieved them as dull as they were.

Angel Eyes - Need to get those connectors soldered so I won't have to worry about them lighting up or not.

Rear Window Spoiler - Which came off at the touchless car wash, but the 1000psi hair dryer blew it off, but now remounted and good as new. (Tape that came with it kinda sucked.......fixed now.)

Emergency Brake Boot - No pics yet, next up will be shots of interior and system.

Last but not least, 19 x 8.5 Privat Profil wrapped in 245/35/19 Toyo Proxes 4's - Thanks to SR20DEN for helping me mount and balance these. Best looking and handling mod I've done so far. With them yesterday I walked an 05 GTP and kilt an 02/03 TL.

Wheels weighed in at 26lbs and tires if I'm not mistaken tires were 11lbs, but Matt said they were in the 20s.....correct me if I'm wrong Matt.

Site

Enjoy---

Preesh,

Picked up a MaxxTuning Lip from PhxBlue, but still sitting in my garage waiting for the rest of the kit and then off to the paint shop.

Looks great!
You should definately consider blacking out the chrome around your window if you truly want the black look.
You can see pics of mine on my www page.

- my opinion as well. No need for a body kit, but that's probably because I'm kinda biased on that look.

I thought about that and even attempted it once, but the tape was getting on my nerves, and now that the rims are black with a polished lip it kinda flows pretty good keeping everything along the same lines. I'll have to see about that one when i'm bored one day. Yours came out perfect, looks nice.

CF Mirrors are compliments of Paradox-Systems. There was a gd for 4th and 5th gen back in Dec. Check with MaxMoJo to see if he has anymore. Nice asthetic mod, would look great on a light colored car also.

Car is Perfect how it stand now as others have said. Love the wheels and the overall car looks awsome. Good work - I would leave it as is, without any Body Kit

Love black rims with a polished lip on a black ride. Any closer up pics? Somehow those ones looks a little...funny? It's b/c of those raised parts along the inner side of the lip. Breaks up the smooth flow of the edge...I dunno...

Oh do I like black!! Check out my tinted tails. I think Im gonna paint the chrome strips on top of the car and black out the chrome in the headlights, if I get the guts to bake my headlights and pull em apart.

Those tails look sweet, that's my next project. How many coats did you use?

I'm surprised no one has commented on the red calipers... I think they go very nicely with the rest of the car... ... although in the past, I've called it ricey ... (btw, I have a red G2 kit in my garage, unopened, think it might look with my majestic blue)

Lovin the car. I just don't understand why you put CF Mirrors and Pillars on it?

I've always been a fan of CF, and I've realized with my past cars that too much of it can look gaudy. Trying not to go overboard, but wanted to be somewhat different. Hood, interior, and eyelids will be the final touches.
