My poor maxima is totaled

Some lady turned in front of me in the intersection today while light was green and nowhere near changing to yellow. So here is the happy maxima after it's surgery. Rest In Pieces poor maxie.

I am fine but the other lady had a panic attack and had to be taken to the hospital. I just hurt my knee a little bit from it hitting the steering column.
I didn't get a ticket as there were witnesses and it was clearly not my fault, she just drove right in front of me for no reason whatsoever. I hope she is alright though. I don't know what to do next but I will need to get to my car once they release it, as I dont plan on losing a $1600 stereo as well as my rims (3 are perfect, the front right i think has a small bend but is fixable)

Time for a new car

Either another maxima, or an audi a4/ jetta 1.8T

that's the only choices right now, i like both cars but the 1.8T's have the reliability problems, but i can't say my maxima was perfect although it worked well

Sorry to see another one go. Will you be parting it out? I'll take the inner tails for $40 shipped.

Forgot Audi or VW they are problematic cars, You don't want to get the headaches of fixing them on a regular basis. Sorry to see your car in an accident, it doesn't look bad from the pic. Don't seem like it's totalled but probably the repair exceed the value of the car.

You seem uninjured, that`s what most important. Dont feel sorry for the Max. It does not feel sorry for you. It`s only plastic and metal and glass. Dont fall in love with something that can`t love back! This is not the last car you will ever own. Next one will be a better one.

yeah it looked worse in person as ionblu or bijan could probably tell you, but since the car is only worth ~5500 and both airbags went off, front crushed in it basically was just damaged more than the car is worth

OUCH****man...see if you can get to your car asap, Vultures are always waiting for cars like yours to come in...best of luck. Make sure that you document all things, in case you have to file a case for any possible missing parts.

Sorry to hear about your accident but at least you are OK. Don't, I repeat don't get an Audi A4 or any VW. You will have your car in the shop at least twice a month. Trust me, I had an A4 before the Maxima. When I switched, it was so nice knowing I could depend on my car to be reliable.

I hate seeing this happen. I just got my whole car done by the paintless dent removal guy and I am so paranoid. She is sooo pretty now. Good luck with whatever outcome.

It didn't fair better..... i hit it right in the passenger door it's side was gone (93 mustang)

Spoke to the cops today to confirm accident was 100% not my fault. I can easily write up a list of everything that was in the car, but i don't have proof of everything that was in there.

Bowling bag with 2 *****, one brand new never bowled, amps, cd player, subwoofer, radar detector, cd's, maglite, K&N filter sitting in back seat,
