I've tried 2 sets of Ebay 'hyperwhites'. Both blew out within 6 months, and their light output sucked. Just suck it up and pay extra for PIAAs.

If you don't have the loot to get HID's then by all means get a pair, they are a better alternative if you want to achieve that HID look, I had a pair in my 04 Max till I saved enough doe to get a HID kit...there are million of makers for "hyper whites".....I say get a brand that everyone knows of and recommended by most....like Polarg, PIAA.....this is a good site to get bulbs: http://xtremewhite.com/

yeah I have used those...I have them in my 87....I got them for 10 on ebay...just like you, wait until you see how blue they are!!! I have stock lights back in....they are crazy blue. Post pics when you put them in.
