Hi folks,

I'm trying to get my dad to decide between the two. The Maxima comes fully loaded with everything the dealer can put on the car, has 17K (mostly fwy). Included is lo-jack, Strutbrace, extended warranty for about $24K (out-the-door). Now an Infiniti dealer is selling a 2000 I30T (not sure what the optionsare) with 13K for only $21K (not including taxes and stuff). Price too good to be true? I'm going to take a look at both cars within the next day or two and would like your input. I can probably talk the Maxima down a little bit. Which one would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

Mike, I think it's a no-brainer: the I30t is the better deal assuming the car is in good shape (no wrecks, etc.). $21K is on the bottom end of retail for 2000 model, so it sounds like a good deal to me.

If the i30T existed, but like you said it's a dealer ad; and anytime I see a ad that seems to good to be true I look at the p# and if its a dealer I just move on.... they always lie

Well, I'll be checking out the car tomorrow. If the ad is bogus, then I can always have the Maxima. Thanks for all your input. I'll let you guys know in the near future.
