need to take HIDs out for inspection?

need to take HIDs out for inspection?
I have inspection coming up soon. Does anyone know if I need to take out my HIDs in order to pass inspection?

If they are a Hi/Lo kit, no. Otherwise, yes.

Not only that...my friend had an RSX with 6000K HID's, and the guy failed him and said they were "too blue"

I have 6k HIDs in my RSX also. The inspection place just turned them on to make sure the lights worked, walked around the vehicle and everything was good to go.
