Those who Discouraged Self Tinting
#41
I believe he said he used the cling tint. I did a self tint job with the cling style a few years ago on an old beater I had, it was very easy to do because cling tint is more pliable, and can be taken on and off if a mistake is made or bubbles occur. This stuff is good for a DIY job, but it looks wavey and ghetto from the inside of the car. Leaving tint to the pros is still the best choice, tinting requires far to much patience for the common man.

I used the precut tint on the front windows of my Quest. It is pretty good. Just make sure you line in it up good and watch that it does not move out of place while you are taking out the bubbles. I bet the back window is still going to be hard.

yeah, thats what I'm thinking, I just hate that someone prolly listened to him and thought, "hey, I can do that", only to find themselves pulling apart and cutting the tint too short......and all those cuss words after you finish each window and it looks like chiiieet..... lol. Would still like to see some pics. I could be wrong and he did a good job. doubt it though.
