Small accident damage estimate

My mom backed into a Tahoe/Suburban with her I35 and did a little damage to her back left corner. I am wanted to get some opinions on how she should have it fixed. Does it look like the dent can just be pulled out and then buffed or does it need some work at a body shop. I am going to try and touch up the bumper but it may need to be repainted. Anyone have any experience repairing something similiar?

i would guess 500-700

i had some damage i bit worse in the same spot and they wanted 1100

but they will pound the dent out but it doesn't look like they would have to paint the quarter panel, but they would have to repaint the bumper cover

depending on where you go but if you get quoted more than $800, dont get it done there.

If the paint damage on the quarter panel isn't very bad I would take it to a paintless dent repair guy like Dentwizard or something and at LEAST see if they could take the dent out. They're much cheaper than a body shop would be. Worse thing that happens is they tell you they can't fix it.

Pound it out and the use plastic filler and then take it to a body shop and have them paint the bumper and the quarter panel you will save money that way.

I agree with this assessment. It doesn't look that bad based on the digital pic.

If you have body work done, understand that it will be finished with Bondo. When the car is really clean, if you're close enough, you will notice the tiny scratches that are necessary with Bondo. When the entire 1/4 is replaced that is not the case, but the damage is too minor for that.

Good luck.
