Need input on Caliper Paint

What's the name of that popular caliper paint where you brush it on instead of spraying can? Coat is very thick. Anyone know?

Folia-Tec and G2 are 2 different brands that have kits like you described. I've used Folia-Tec and it came out excellent, and I've heard good things about G2 as well.

If you want to remove paint on caliper, sandblast work very well, how do I know ?
I bought a set of rear used caliper at the junkyard, they were all rusty, I had those sandblasted and they came out better than new, but finally I decided to have both chromed instead of painting. To my own experience I found regular paint hold for about a year and then you see the rust re-appearing, but my guess is if you sandblast the caliper then prime and then paint, then the paint will hold for longer period of time. But I think if you can afford chrome will stay forever. I will only get my caliper in 3-4 weeks
once I get it I can show pics.

i'm not familiar with advanced tools but sandblasters seem quite expensive. did you rent one of these at home depot?

No I actually found local shop that did it for me, it cost me 30$ CDN per caliper for the sandblasting, might sound expensive for some, but the result is unbeatable. You can also use a bench grinder with a metal brush, that could easily take 2 hours per caliper to makes a good job so all in all SB was the best for me.

Mine are PTFE coated, and that stuff is tough! Very thick, and resistant to pretty much anything.
