Look at my...

...install of my touch screen tv/radio. I am not done but here is what I have done so far.

I took the trim ring to the tv and glued it into a aftermarket install kit (it cam with a single DIN and a pocket) Then filled it in with rubber bumer repair.


Here I sanded it down and primered it.

Here it is on the radio and A/C controls.

Just another view.
Next I will paint it to match the grey around the A/C controls.

Thanks Ed, only took me a week to build..

i am going to build another one i think... there are a few things i want to change on it. so my old one will be up for sale sometime.

now what do you guys use? bondo? and silvermax2k2, do you have any pics of the finished install? where are you going to put your climate controls at?

No problem, the more the better. I'll share.

As stated before I used rubber bumper repair to mold the face plate in, because it is made to flex and not crack. You can use Bondo, but some times it cracks. I have made a bunch of things this wat and it works very well.

where can u get rubber bumper repair ? i have bondo but yeah it cracks sometimes.
