Damn, my 85W Yellow Stars blew pretty quickly, so I decided to take them back down to 55W. I was disappointed, some of you will remember, that the 55W Yellow Stars were just NOT yellow at all.. like a slight tint, but mostly just white.

Anyway, after having the 55W ones in for about four or five weeks, I notice tonight that one has ALREADY BLOWN!

Damn what is the deal?

Are there longer lasting, tougher fog bulbs? At this point, I don't care about yellow.. it would be nice, but, replacing this bulbs is SUCH a pain... I want ones that will LAST.

Maybe the glass had some oil or grease on them causing them to burn out. Did you clean them with some alcohol before installing?

How about a HID kit for your fogs? It would look very nice with your Hid headlights. If you did do this the bulbs whould probably out last the car, atleast for as long as you will own it. Hids usualy last about 10,000 hours! BTW I am looking into the Cefiro fog's for you, I will let you know if the dude can get them.

I have PIAA Ion Crystal bulbs in my factory fog lights...They're supposed to shine out a pure yellow, but the lens "distorts" the color...It's yellow with splotches of white...But depending on your angle, they look pure yellow...

Hid's run much coldor then regular lights since they are only 35 watts per bulb. I don't know if you remember but I have a Hid kit in my foglights and they work and look great. There just a little pricey but I think you get what you pay for.
