So she does fine on the roads, I haven't had a heart attack yet. Well, we go the back entrance back to school which is a gravel road. No biggie, its a 4Runner, right? Well, she's going about 25 mph and all of the sudden we find that this gravel road is washboard and has tons of potholes that could swallow a Kia Rio whole. Well, the 4Runner's tail comes out and the rest is history. I yell out some obscentity while she is busy countersteering at opposite lock. This sends us into the bushes, with the 4Runner deflecting off of a large pine.
Way to go Honey!!!

15 will get ya 20
don't have any pics but last month i was in the passenger seat of a suv that hit a tree head on going 50 mph. We swerved to miss another car and went through a fence which knocked out the driver. meanwhile the car was still moving until a big tree stopped us from crashing into the guy's living room. And of all places to have an accident it was in a llama pasture.
And the max has been hit twice and is still going strong. thing is built like a tank

I climbed over the front seats and out the rear windshield, because there was none left. I then ran onto the highway and tried to flag someone down, but no one stopped.
Eventually a state trooper came by, and he said that someone called me in as a crazy person waving my arms and standing in the middle of the highway (that was probably a bad idea, but I was pretty delirious). And the strangest part is that despite all the shattered glass and twisted metal, I walked out without a scratch.
Another part that stinks - the gunmetal Motegi MR7's had just been bought three days before the crash. I don't even have a picture of them on the car except for these crash ones. I miss that Maxima.
Well, this one definately beat mine. I rolled over with 3 other people in the car and managed to tear apart every side of he car except the license plate, but it definately wasnt as bad as that! And BTW, we all walked away from it with only seatbelt hickies.

How about a prize for the shortest lived max? We had it 36 hours before we were rearended at a stoplight. The impact sent us into the truck ahead of us. 18K worth of damage. Still waiting for the pictures. It's been 3 weeks, should be finally repaired this week.
It was kinda funny, the first day we had it, I thought about where the passenger side airbag comes out, I couldn't see any seams or anything. Well, now I know exactly where it comes out.
Only some sore backs and a forearm burn from the drivers airbag; fortunately, we all had our seatbelts on -- the incident turned me from a casual user of seatbelts into a firm believer in them.

Hopefully it will be repaired properly. You're definitely right about the seatbelts. I've been in three accidents in which the car was totaled, and nobody was seriously hurt in any of them (thanks to seatbelts). I don't let people ride in the car with me unless they're wearing their seatbelt.
Anyone ever watch the Police video shows? America's Wildest Police Videos (or something like that) had a police chase where the cops were chasing an older car with gangbangers in it and they tried to get away as they flew up a hill and through a stop sign... but just then, a white 5th gen came flying from the right and creamed the older car, spinning the 5th gen around and sending the older car flying.
Obvious how it could have been prevented...
