Fender rolling.....(rubbing issues)
Any one here know anything about fender rolling??
i just droped the rear more on my teins, and with only 2 people in the car, the outside edge of the tire touches the edge of the wheel weel in the rear when i go over bumps.
Anything i can do to stop this??
the front touches too but barly , and it just touches the head of fender lining screw a bit but its nothing.
i dont realy want to raise up more, can i roll the fenders myself or anything?

you can try to use a smaller tire, using a tire size calculator, the stock tire size with the 16s is 25.3 inches, whiles your tire size with the 19s is 25.5, those 0.2 inches can make some difference. but this is a costly option.
i have 2 friend, one with a legend and one with a 325i, they both got their fenders rolled due to rubbing. cost like 40 bux per fender, looks great and no more rubbing. you can take it to a body shop that does custom work and they have a device that rolls your fenders from under the fender.

I just used a baseball bat and pryed it between the fender and tire.... heat the area up a little though, otherwise you will crack the paint. I messed mine up a little, but you cant see it.

I dropped it more after i took the pics posted above, most recent is the pic in my sig.
The rubbing isn't bad , it only happens when i have someone else (thats heavy) in the car and when i hit a bump, it happend once on the highway when i went over a dip and once going over a slight bump at like 40mph. The out side of the tire touches the edge of the rear fender.
Most members dont rub cause their rims tuck in ,my offset is to wide and so are my tires, i can't tuck unless i put a very negitve camber ...
Also because i have a wider offset (35) and i have 245s, i also noticed toyo T1-s have a thick profile and run wide.
What if i just leave it?

I used a baseball bat on my driver's side rear tire.
All I did was jack up the rear a little, set the wooden bat in between the tire and the fender, and let the car down a little. I repeated this process a good couple times until the fender appeared to be rolled evenly all around.
I would recommend doing this on a hotter day or I recommend that you heat up the paint located on the fender where it starts to roll in. This is to prevent the paint from cracking or chipping when you roll the fenders.....
