Gtech Pro meter

Anyone use the Gtech Pro Competition Meter on their car? I just bought one (RR Model) and I used it in my friend's STOCK GTP and it read that he ran 376hp. Then we did it in my friend's V6 Mustang (has exhaust) and it read 280hp. I know these stats aren't even close to right,so is this thing a piece of ****? Or am I using it wrong?

What kind of weight did you put in for those cars? Also was the road that they were tested on flat? Was the gear ratio input correct as well. If not then its no wonder the results were off.

also remeber the point of the g-tech is not to give perfect acuarate data but to more so show improvments after mods....it will not be 100% correct but like everyone eles said make sure all your info is correctly added into it and the run is done on a flat surface.

yeah sounds like the weight was entered incorrectly.... if you enter more weight than the car hp will go up

The Gtech Pro Comp. should be somewhat accurate when setup correctly. It's far more advabced than the old Gtech Pro.

376hp for a stock GTP is not even in the correct galaxy. Try setting it up better next time. Take the car to a weigh station to get correct vehicle weight.

I just took the weight in the door jams.We were only doing it quick, but I figured it would come out a little more accurate.Yes the road was completely flat,I did all the calibrations, and entered the weight on the door jam, entered the redline, and it told me to rev the engine to 4500rpms,then to 2000rpms.Shouldnt be too far off.
