I'll be the first to say. Tilleys99 knows his maximas. The shop does great work, so if you're around the PA area... you should check out the place. Great work and Tilleys99 will be one of the nicest guys on here you'll meet. He did my car and it looks great!

Nice. That brick wall on the right does not flow with teh design. Allright, no website criticism ...

Upload more pictures of the work you have done and the picture of the shop itself. Helps to build credibility substantially among first time wbsite visitors.

If I decide to swap 3.5, I'll definitely go down to PA.

I am also curious to know....how much will a full 3.5 swap cost in a 4th gen? An average ballpark figure with the motor/tranny/ecu/labor....I do realize there are different routes you can take. i.e. using the VTC's or converting to cable etc. etc....that is why I say ballpark figure...doesn't have to be an exact price....

I have a maxima specialist down here in SO CAL....he is very knowledgable and I know he can do the swap as well....I just need to know an approximate pricing

I can't speak for Tilley. But having done it I would suggest doing it yourself. The labor is an approximate 20-25 hours. For a full 3.5 without VTCs on 3.0 ECU. Figure out how much your mechanic charges.

The actual engine can be had for 800$ on www.car-part.com. You need to convert the TB to cable driven and make brackets for TPS, which you can easily do yourself. That is pretty much it as far as what you NEED for this swap. But anyone who has done it would suggest putting in an aftermarket clutch and headers while you're at it. Sooooooo much cheaper to do while you're doing the swap.

If you do the labor yourself, engine + headers + clutch would run you about 2k. With labor it could run you 3-3.5k. Also plan to send your cams to Tilley to have him drill them. 50$ for that. And 80$ for the JWT spacers.

IMO 2k for +80 reliable HP is the best bang for the buck on 4th gens period.
