RSB clamps/bolts, other engine bay bolts

I was wondering if there's something that can be done to the bolts/clamps/metal parts that attatch to the sway bar so they won't rust? I don't drive the car in the winter (The Tempo beater is sooooo much cheap to insure and repair), so I guess that helps a little.

I have the progress/addco/Cattman Rear Sway Bar, by the way. I recently saw a thread where someone posted pics of his sway bar and all the clamps/bolts were rusted as hell. Said he had it for a little over a year.

So is there a treatment or something that won't allow them to rust?

Buy galvanized hardware and paint stuff that can't be replaced easily. Or just live with it.

Easiest way is to get the parts powder coated. Then use anti-seize compound on the threads.

You would have to call someone local. If you can strip them of all the crap first,it might be cheaper.

for the hardware, use stainless steel bolts. it's the ONLY way to keep them from rusting.
zinc plating will work for a short while, but won't last forever.
