i've done this before as well. i was able to get two motor mounts from one order of the mcmaster epoxy, provided you don't spill too much and the duct tape it tight. the most important part of the whole install is making sure the duct tape it tight and creates a good seal so that it's a good mold. make sure to clean the mounts of any grease ect.... i used brake cleaner.

yup, what dmbmaxima2k2 said. my front mount actually had two pockets filled with black liquid. i cut those out and left the structural rubber. with one pound of that mcmasters shore 80a polyurethane, i filled the 2 lower motor mounts and a tranny mount.

that's if you don't spill any. i would mix the 2 liquids together and wait 15min or so before pouring into your taped up (taped up very well on one side) mounts. takes like 3 days to cure 80-90% and about a week to cure fully.

 

use large drill bits and drill holes into the rubber and fill those holes up with more poly =D.. i'm sure it'll make it stiffer.. i gave up on filling mine and just got the ES bushings

 

I don't think ES makes busing for a second gen

 

yah unfortunately i don't think they do.

 

i wonder if you could just measure that thing, and see if you can use one from another car.. i would not know as to how you'de begin to search tho.. but that just might work.

 

as tight as they were in my fouth gen the measurement would have to be VERY accurate....I would rather just fill them than trying to do all of that.
