OK, after searching and looking at 3m pages, I couldn't find what I was looking for. I saw a page with two cut open oil filters maybe 6 mos ago. Can I find it now...NO. Does anyone know what page I am talking about? It was a comparo of the nissan part, and some aftermarket (fram, stp, K&N???) filter. Thanks for your help.

That site shows the internals of the OEM 9E000--pretty nice. At $4.89, why bother with anything else? Mobil 1 is usually $10 minimum. The only possible selling point for the Mobil 1 is that it passed the SAE J1858 test. But are we really going to get into particle counting and gravimetric measurements?

$4.89 and OEM = right choice!
