ok i have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, and even put the stock intake back in.... but i still am only getting 220 miles to a tank... i should be getting like 300-320 WTF. i am wondering if its the 02 sensors now. And also I am driving my car now like a grandma to see if the gas mileage was due to the heavy foot syndrome. But its not. Anyone else have any clue.

Are those Nissan Platnium plug? Manytimes, other plugs are not as good as OEM Nissan I have learned, even the high priced performance ones. And your using at least 92 octane of course. Last, How many miles, you should try one of those fuel injector cleaners. That worked well on my 96 Max, when I did the fuel filter/plugs/oil 60K service.

These items, and the 02 (Though it should throw a code if bad) is about all you can do.

Also check your exaust fumes, see if it is putting out white smoke and the whole bit, if it is that meens your car is probably running to rich which leads me to think you may have a bad o2 sensor. BTW when you look at the exaust fumes wait until the car heats up then look at the fumes, also another sign of running rich is black crud on your exaust tip. Best of luck to you and these damn gas prices are outrageus! Ohh yeah try what Tex said.

Is your car warming up properly? A while back, I had a thermostat stick in the OPEN position (on an Aerostar). Since the engine never got up to operating temperature, the ECU kept dumping fuel through the injectors because it assumed the engine had just started. My mileage went from 25mpg to 14mpg before I figured it out.

Whatever it is, get it fixed soon; a constant rich mixture will kill your catalytic converter pretty quick.
