anyone would do this.
This past weekend on my ride home from Long Island I saw a 3rd gen lowered to an inch of its life. It was lowered so much there was almost no suspension travel so it was bouncing like crazy. Anyway the car had maybe 14" rims on it. They were fancy chrome ones. The only reason I can think of to do this is because anything larger would not fit since the car was lowered so much. But man did it look funny. Especially bobing down the road

I used to have bags, and one time, on my way home from the beach, I was going through a little bit of a construction zone (at about 35mph) and they had these big metal plates that basically filled up one lane of the street. Anyways, there was a bit of a "ramp" going up to the plates, and not a very good notice of this huge "bump" in the road. So I'm driving along, and I see this too late to get slowed down enough to get over the bump smoothly, and it basically launches my car (probably didn't catch air, but used up most of my suspension travel).
When my car comes back down, there's enough force to blow out some of the T's I was using for some air pressure gauges for my bags. I seriously heard an "explosion" in the trunk. I pulled over to the side of the road, and found little pieces of my plastic T's all over the trunk. This happened pretty late on a Saturday night, and I was like 15 miles from home, so I wasn't about to call a tow truck. I called one of my friends that lived close by to see if I could borrow some tools to jerry rig it so that I could get home, but he didn't pick up. So, I had to end up driving home with no rear suspension. Yeah, that was fun!

1. In your examples, it is easier to say the first options rather than the second, and I'm quite lazy so I choose the first. (hey, i didn't say they were good comebacks.) However, N2O is just as easy as NOS, NX, etc.
2. I call it tissue, not kleenex, and it makes me feel
every time.

Maybe its like when in prison, you sag your pants to signal that you offer sex. Maybe they were sagging their car to say that everyone in the car is offering sex. Just a bigger "marketing" scheme there.

And you know this how...?

Because people think that they can watch Fast and the Furious and know everything there is to know about cars, but they dont reolize that "NOS" is just a name brand. Notice how all of the true Car finatics came before that movie.

Oh, I still want a GN. Sometime down the road.
The F&F movies helped spread the scourge of "ricers." All of a sudden, you saw people trying to imitate the movie, but without the movie budget to do so. I think the import scene was hopping before the movies, that's why Hollywood thought up the movies in the first place, to take advantage of this popularity.

Plus I normally don't bother with the engine breaker in a bottle.
