don't use your spare tire on the drive wheel(or front on the maxima) unless it's a full size spare. Since the spare is smaller, it will have to turn faster to keep up... burnt differential is not a good thing. Take the time to change the back to the front and use teh spare on the back if you get a flat.

Just wanted to share.

Nah, but it makes sense. I think for the most part, driving it 10-15 miles it should be ok... but say you are on a long road trip, don't do it. Tranny much more expensive than 30 minutes of you time.

Life's ok... with this new promotion comes 10 times the amount of ork... blah.

CRX is doing good... car is VERY strong right now.. the other day, just pushing it a bit, I got to to do some serious barking into second... so much so, I got wheel hop from the car.. and I've go solid poly engine mounts too...

But...how about using 4 temp spares to lower the car. They would probably stick better then the original Toyo A05's too. :-)

Nah... I guess I've always "known" this... it was confirmed today by another person's post in the CRX forum.

You know, if you put two spares in the back, you could fix the understeer problem!

My favorite is people driving on the freeway with a spare, and they are still going 70Mph....
