I just had my tires balanced yesterday at the neighborhood shop and they didn't put the jack in the proper area to lift the front of the car and bent the lip on the left side of the car. If you stand away from the car on the left side, you can see the lip is uneven near the front. I should have my insurance company go after those jacka$$e$ to fix my car. Can the body shops fix this?

What are you waiting for, go sue there behinds. You should have confronted them when you got the car back from them!

Welcome to the world of mechanics and **** ups

This reminds me of the time I was getting my 95 max inspecting{which was lowered and had a body kit etc.} and when the guy pulls my car out of the garage he goes to park and he drives the front lip into a curb. I am standing like two feet in front of im going off I am like , Stop!, and then he finally stops but the car is in contact with the curb, so I start yelling back up! Dumbass! Anways I escaped with only a small scuff on my front lip. But get this, they did it AGAIN 2 WEEKS LATER!

I say you talk man man with the fool who damaged your car and tell him you want the car fixed and if he sais no, pop him one in the face.J/K , really, report him to something, maybe call the head honchu and rat his *** out. Good luck

Ohh another idea is maybe get a front lip to cover the damage up? It's a good excuse to get one.

That sucks! Definitely talk to the guy who did it or talk to his boss...see what you can do...

Where is this shop? Name and location?

Just trying to make sure I avoid it...

good luck!

Be calm, go ask them to fix it. If they dont, go to a body shop get an estimate. Then head over to your local courthouse and file a small claims suit. A Sheriff will serve the warrant in debt to the shop that messed up your car and hopefull it will scare them and they will settle. If not, as long as you can prove they messed your car up, the law should prevail.

Just make sure you have plenty of evidence and get statements and such in writing.

Good Luck

They know about it. I confronted them when it happened but I can't do anything right now, I am on vacation in DC.
