Yeah, most of us know how an increase in wheel and tire diameter can adversely affect the car. You gotta do your plus-sizing right, or you can lose power, fuel economy, and acceleration.
What really caught my eye was the wheel guide after it. I thought at first that it was just a rehash of the one from SCC, since Import Tuner did that. Turbo just selected lightweight wheels that would affect your performance as little as possible. They gave a general weight standard fro the different sizes to be considered 'light:'
16x7: 21 lbs
17x8: 22 lbs
18x8: 23.5 lbs
19x8: 25 lbs

It was interesting to see how many of the 'heavy, knock-off, low-quality' wheels had fit the weight standard. Funny thing was, there was only one wheel from Konig there. It was the 'Traffik,' weighing in at 20.5 for an 18x8.

Yeah, you guys are doing pretty good...

I know someone who isn't too happy with their 50lb wheel/tire combo. *cough, cough*Emax*cough*

I just found this link with the weights of a lot of different wheels. Lots of aftermarket ones, and even a few OEMs like the 300ZX wheels. Here it is:

I'm not too sure how accurate that chart is. Just a FYI you made a mistake in your post stating a 17x8=22lbs it should be 17x7=22lbs. The chart list the Nippon Racing Evoluzione 17x7 weighing 21lbs but in the the Turbo Mag it says they weigh only 14 lbs another discrepancy is the Racing Hart Cp-035 in the chart it list a 17x7.5 =13lbs yet in Turbo Mag a 17x7=13.5 now how does the same rim but wider weigh less? So I'm not sure where the chart got the numbers from. But since Turbo Mag is a reputable mag I myself will go with them.
