How to carefully remove corner lights?

Hey...
Im getting clear corner lights in a few days and I wanted to be ready when Im going to put them on....
Ive been looking at the current lights and the problem is that I dont know how to carefully remove the old lights without scratching the bumpers...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks...

just pop the clearance light (smaller one) out and then remove the blinker's screw. unplug the bulbs and you're done.

Well, thats the easy part.... =)
The question is how to pop that light without leaving any scratches on the exterior....
And what "smaller" light are you taking about?
To clarify things, I have a 5th gen Maxima....
