In the past 3 days, I've had 6 people try to run me. I've had a:

-white 97+ Max with a kit and dual exhaust
-98 Mustang V6 (stock)
-modded Infiniti G20
-Vigor
-Legend
-riced out CRX

What's crazy is all these guys were no older than 18 and they are trying to run me in traffic and broad daylight. Do these kids have any sense? I swear, ever since the import scene came about and guys started making fast cars out of slow cheap cars, everyone is racing on the street, no matter what time, who's on the street, or at what cost. No wonder the cops give these kids a hard time.

I guess I'm kinda like you. I NEVER race/run WOT during the day. I only drive fast at night when nobody's around. I NEVER want people to look at me/draw attention to myself.

I know for one thing that a Legend manual can easily beat a 96 Maxima. Don't take it too personally, but since I've owned a 96GXE and still have my Legend, I know their performance...

Maybe the Legend wasn't trying to race you, but to go over you short and sweet?

Sometimes I get the feeling that if someone sees that you have a nice car, they'll try to race you and beat you...so that they can feel better about their "lesser" car...

The only Legend I would be threatened by is the 93 Coupe with the 230hp V6 and 6 speed manual. However, I don't remember that Legend being any faster than lower 15s. It might have 230hp, but it has about 700lbs on the 4th gen 5 speed.

True, but I have hurt a lot of feelings because of this.
