I interviewed for a sales job at Nissan today. The job is a lock, you only get paid commission, and the worst salesman makes about $40k. Not bad for a gig that I'll used until I can get a real job again. They offer sweet monthy discounts on car and monthy demo driving... Might not be so bad for the summer, but the hours suck.

Anybody else?

I will be working for Nissan.
When the new Skyline comes, I will lease it from Nissan, which is basically the same as "working" for them!

Dude, they ALL tell you the $$$$ is good, but if you frequent any dealerships, there is a TON of turn-over, a few guys might make some $$$$, but very few do. Those guys are always quiting.

Straight commission? what if you haven't sold a car in three weeks?

Damn, I'm unemployed right now and nobody is hiring in my proffession. On the bright side, I'm one hell of a salesman. I sold you didn't I?

Anyway that I look at it, they basically pay for a lease or finance bill, give you invoice on a purchase or let you drive a demo after three months for free. That's a nice little trade off. Maybe I won't have to sell my Max and I can get the Z from them?
