Slow day at the track and the fuel pressure regulator mod doesn't seem to work..

Actually, I knew I wasn't gonna do good because it was a bit warm today at the track. According to two weather stations onsite, the temp was in 85-91 degree range from 7pm to 9pm, baro pressure at 29.6, and humidity ranging from 75-80%. Track temp was actually in the 90s all night. It was slightly muggy to say the least, but I went out to watch my buddy run his 2K Si. My best of the night was a couple 15.1s@93mph with some very boggy 2.3 60'. I also ran 3 15.2s and one 15.3. According to my NHRA correction program, my ets corrected to 14.3@98mph-14.4@97mph (1000 above sea level also inserted). As usual, I was the only 4 door there. I did give a couple 5.0s a run for thier money, but I lost by .1 both times even though I had a better trap speed. As usual, I didn't see a single LS1 F-Body hit close to a 13.
My buddies Si went 16.4@85mph. Other cars worth mentioning: MR2 turbo consistently in the 15.5s, Probe GTs (completely gutted) in mid 15s, 99 Cobra in the 14.5s, covert C4 Vette in upper 13s (not bad), modded Neon in the upper 15s, gutted trailor-queen CRX B16 turbo in the 13.3s, and the LS1 F-Bodys in the lower 14s.
As for the fuel pressure regulator mod (removing the vacumn line to the regulator), it didn't make a difference either way. It actually might had slowed me down. Maybe it would be a better mod for cool weather because under such hot conditions, the ECU is already running a rich program because more fuel makes for cooler cylinders (ie to reduce detonation)
