general tach problem

general tach problem
my tach seems to work fine. except between 2500-2600rpm. in that range the needle bounces all over, but once it goes below or over that range its perfect. anyone have a clue what it could be? im thinking maybe crank sensor.

Your gauge cluster is going, your going to have to replace it.
