New Maxima.org stickers?

Hey all, maybe this should have gone into the suggestions forum, but recently i met a guy who makes his own decals, and he does a damn good job. He is the designer for all the decals for at least 2 different sites, the new beetle forums, and the MX6 forums. He has 6 years experience, and all his decals are die cut, he has his own plotter (i guess this is some machine).

Anyways, im not trying to step up and make huge changes, i'm just gauging interest. On the MX6 forums, this guy was selling them, and for each purchase $1 would go to the host site. He told me if i wanted, he would try and design some for our Maxima community, so my question is would anybody be interested? Here is some of his work:

Hi all I'm the decal guy........

To me it is a hobby, I love doing it... and I also like to help the community. So to whom it may concern for your approval I would like to make the decals for this community and for each decal bought a $1 goes towards this website. If you would like I can get started right away.....

Here is a link towards a club I help out......

http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123167

Prices will deffer on how complicated the decal is......

Thanx mendon99 for posting this.

Omar

I wouldn't mind it either... I would be down for at least 1... The only thing I would suggest is givin the option of different sizes like the kind that we have now

might want to check with the owner of the site before you start promoting sticker sales.

I like what we already have. I think it's very subtle and is our logo. To change it up would not set standards of Maxima.org anymore. I don't think after years of going with this logo any changes should be made. Does Retail stores change their logos? Do car dealerships change their logo? Maybe a new sticker could be made if it was for something related to Maximas, but our OG should not be changed for it's what represents us. Just my .02 for what it's worth.

ALL sticker sales and the use of Maxima.org should be directed to the owner PRIOR to anything happening.

also i'm with Deck here...why change it? it is what it is. would you go to nissan and have them change the burger emblem? it's classic...don't mess with it. oh and i believe someone is already doing the sticker sales already.

Dude, let's see what he can make first, and yes logo's do change, Coke Cola changed, Aunt Jemima Syrup bottle the lady no longer wears a head scarf. And yes, almost every vehicle logo has changed in some way with history. I think a Max.org sticker with Samuri type red lettering would be pretty cool. Just a thought...

I've got to see a picture of that or something. My mind leads me to picture a riced out GTR or Vcrap sticker.

I'm not here to change anything. I'm just here to help. Of course I will have to ask permission from the owner of this website... I always do... I'm trying to help out the fees of having the server running... If you guys need anything of a decal let me know. Who is the owner by the way?

I also like the current stickers, but change can be good too. I would be interested depending what they will look like. There can always be a couple different types of stickers so our cars don't all look the same.

I don't think a sticker is going to change the look of the car.

Obviously not very much, but it all depends on how he designs this sticker. People may prefer how one sticker looks on their Maxima over the other.

I suggest that you should show us some sticker ideas if you want us to change our minds. If they're pretty you'll get support; if they're ugly we'll tell you straight. Only way IMO to generate enthusiasm for your motion.

You cannot beat the OG org stickers.

Any new sets will just show you are a n00b, and will be made fun of accordingly.
