*PICS* Color dif between hyperwhite LEDs and bulbs...NO 56K
6 months ago I began my interest for LED bulbs. I then proceeded to replace all the interior and outer bulbs with LEDs on my old car. Now that I have an I35, I am doing the same. Call this an informative thread for those who cares
. Pictured below are of my I35's clearence lights, one side with Polarg M4, another with "hyperwhite" 4-LED 194 bulb.
As you can see below, the Polarg is more of a HID 4300k color, whereas the LED is more of a 6000k bluish color (in real life it is more purple). Last pic is of my license plate, where I put 5-LED hyperwhites in place of stock bulbs. There are many types of LEDs to replace regular 194 type bulbs, the ones I have installed are "focused" ones. It means the bulb shines like a flashlight, straight and direct. That's why the light doesn't scatter as well as regular incandescent bulb.
*Sorry for the bad quality pics, my digicam ran out of battery, so I used my MP3 player/camera thing.*
