A- Pillar Gauge Problems.

Alright, today i had my new gauge installed. The Autometer coblat gauges. I got the Oil pressure, A/F, and Volt. All electronic. The first thing was both A/f and volt gauges work but the backlight which are LEDs don't light up. My shop even showed me that when they put power to them they were not lighting up. Oh well, return those and probally wait another month to get new ones.
But my real Big concern is the oil pressure gauge. When i am at idle the O/P is about 10-20 psi. When i rev the engine say 4000 RPMs the psi is around 50-60 psi. When i got into going down the road revving to almost 6500 RPMs the O/P was at almost 90psi, maybe a bit more. Now I don't know if anyone here has ever exparienced this, but I don't think it is supposed to be that way.
If anyone here has delt with this problem let me know. Or if this is the way it is let me know. I did check the 4th gen. stickies, but nothing. Thanks to everyone in advance.

Bill

Yeah your oil pressure would be that high... think about it. when you rev your engine your oil is moving around more and it causes a higher pressure... and when you are going down the road revving at 6500 its going to be high thats for sure. And it is normal for it to be low when the car is turned on and at idle.
