This is good info to know. Share with folks you know.

> If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home, call

>
> Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the
other

holding
> it near the phone on their end.
>
> Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys
to
you.
> Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if
you
can
> reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can
unlock
> the doors (or the trunk!)

> Editor's Note * It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our

Why is it that nobody can think things out logically anymore? People can't even figure out a break-even point for a mortgage refi without the web. Creates lots of opportunities for shysters. Is the key fob so mysterious that one would believe what it does can be transmitted via a cell phone? Oh wait, I just figured out that if I press panic 4 times my key fob becomes a blackberry and I can send emails....
