G35 Shoes

G35 Shoes
I'm in the market for some new shoes for the 98. I was considering the G35 couple 18's or the 19's. I believe the 18's are 8 wide and are wrapped in the Michelin Pilots while the 19's are 8 in the front and 8.5 in the rear wrapped in Potenzas. I'm lowered on eibachs and illuminas. Will the 19's rub in any way? Are any 4th gens currently riding G35 19's? I've seen the 18's in the 4th Gen forum. Moreover, are there any differences between the 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2005 models of the G35c rims?
Thanks, Chris

you will not be able to use the tires from the G35, as they will rub in your wheel wells, at least the rear ones (245/45/18)....too large diameter for the maxima, even the 5th gen.
The 18's are indeed 18x8, but you will need to use 235/40/18 tires if you want to keep it in spec diameter for the maxima.
The 18's can be found used for under $1000, but ou as you may know, th 19's are made by Rays, and are extremely expensive ($2000+ used)......
The 18's were the same in 03-04 to my knowledge....

At most, he could run all 4 225-45-18s. It's about 1.7% bigger. The fronts are already that size. So grab 2 more from ebay and sell these for the same. I ran the big tires up front with just minimal rubbing with sharp turns.
