ok.. this is actually on my mom's 93 altima, but i figure the power window setup should be the same as a max. First one rear window would roll down on its own and would not stop until the window lock was turned on.. so i unplugged the power to that window.. now the other side is doing it. I don't know what is causing it, i figure it might be the relay switch thing that's in the doors, but those are like over $60 each, and i'm not even sure that that's where the prob is. I tried switching them from one side to the other a while ago, and it worked, but then something went wrong again.. i'd appreciate any feedback, thnx.

A ghost is your car.

I suggest you contact Ghostbuster in NY.

Sounds like you may have sticking contacts in the window switches. NAPA sells an aeorsol product called "CRC Electronics Cleaner". Pull each switch from the door panel and spray into the contact area; not where the wires connect but inside where the electrical switching is done. Do the switches on the driver's door also.

If that doesn't fix it, I would suggest that you remove the door panels and look for shorts in the wires. Look for the wiring harness rubbing on sheet metal, etc. Don't forget to check the driver's door also.
