URGENT Car won't start NEED HELP

Hello all, I turned the ignition key this morning and all I heard was just clicking noise. No nothing. The battery was fine and all.

Thinking about taking it to a dealer. Anybody knows what the culprit might be? Ignition switch perhaps?

What's the best dealer here around Schamburg/South Elgin area?

Please help me since I am stranded in the parking lot of a hotel now....

What condition are the battery posts in? Did you try turning the battery cables where they attach to the posts?

Your problem might be alternator related, but you certainly don't have to go to a dealer. Take it to an automotive electrical shop.

New alternator about 4 months ago.
Battery is also new.
Starter was replaced about 1.5 year back.

Seems to me that there is one more thing. IGNITION SWITCHH!!

Having the car towed to a dealer in about 1 hour now....so let's see....

Thanks to management at Marriott who was willing to give me access to tools. Thanks to AAA to tow my car (for FREE) to a nearby Nissan dealership to buy the switch, and most of all, thanks to MAXIMA.ORG for this thread:

...because now I am all good to go for spending only $35 and one hour tinkering with the car.

Case closed. Moderator, please delete this thread if you think it's appropriate.
